“We who are in this race for riches should be encouraged to know that this changed world in which we live is demanding new ideas, new leaders, new inventions, new methods of teaching, new methods of marketing, new books, new literature, new features for the mass media, new ideas for entertainment. Back of all this demand for new and better things, there is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE-the knowledge of what one wants and a burning DESIRE to possess it.” Napoleon Hill
When you have declared war on your poverty and have come to the conclusion that you want to achieve success, nothing can stop you because you have already made it up in your mind that you will be willing to do whatever it takes. Remember what you feed on daily will become fuel throughout your day. Those thoughts will then feed your DESIRE to achieve whatever it is you want. We all have dreams. We have all once dreamed big things and within our mind, we were taken to places that no one can take away. We have all dreamed of owning our own businesses, we created products or imagined things within our mind that can possibly change how people do things. No one ever dreamed of a smartphone quite like Steve Jobs and once he revealed it to the world, we were all standing in wonder and we all began to dream of what will Apple create next. There is no doubt that other companies will be freaking out at what just took place in 2007. History now reveals that all tech companies were trying to pump out the next copycat of what Apple just created. Think about what you can do.
In early American history, the forefathers dreamed of an America that was free from England. They were tired of England having their hand on the colonials and creating taxes. In the book “Thomas Jefferson; The Art of Power” by Jon Meacham, it states “Every proposal from London, every thought of a tax, every sign of imperial authority, raised fears of tyranny in America, for such proposals, taxes, and expressions of authority in the seventeenth century had produced such tyranny in the mother country during the Civil War and the Restoration.” They began to dream where all future Americans can live in freedom and without an autocratic society. Then one day Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Richard Henry Lee, Thomas Jefferson, and many others signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and were willing to die for that dream. What was the cause that moved these men into great FAITH and will mow down any opposition that got in the way of their dream? It was Desire!
What will cause you to be fed up with your current status quo? When will enough be enough? Begin to DREAM BIG and PRAY BIG! One of the most influential men who ever walked the earth once said: “For nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
What could you do, if you knew you could not fail?? What have you dreamed of? What have you always wanted to do? Napoleon Hill states “The greatest achievement was first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg, and the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. DREAMS ARE THE SEEDLINGS OF REALITIES.”
“Take courage, for these experiences have tempered the spiritual metal of which you are made - they are assets of incomparable value.” Napoleon Hill.
Today write down your dreams and begin to declare to take small steps to make that dream a reality
